In 2012 and 2013, PwC conducted a survey of businesses around the world, asking about the initiatives that had been put in place to deal with mobile security risks at that time. In 2012, 31 percent of respondents replied that they had banned user-owned devices in the workplace. By 2013, the share had decreased slightly to 30 percent.
