In 2013, PwC conducted a survey of businesses around the world, asking how confident executives were that they had implemented effective information security activities in their organization. 74 percent of respondents said that they were somewhat or very confident regarding their companies' security activities.

* The survey included readers of CIO and CSO magazines and clients of PwC. In total 9,600 CEOs, CFOs, CISOs, CIOs, CSOs, vice presidents, and directors of IT and information security from 115 different countries.
