Length of civil aviation routes in China 1995-2022
In 2022, the total length of China's civil flight routes dropped to less than seven million kilometers, of which around 5.43 million kilometers were within mainland China. Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of international flights and the length of international air routes more than halved in 2021 and 2022, compare to pre-pandemic level.
