Cinema attendance in Argentina 2014-2022
Throughout 2022, movie theaters across Argentina sold 33.5 million tickets, up from 13.3 million a year earlier – an annual increase of about 151.9 percent. Yet the 2022 figure amounts to 71 percent of the nearly 47 million movie tickets sold in 2019, before the COVID-19 outbreak. Box office revenue in Argentina, however, grew in the same period.
