Coca-Cola is the most valuable soft drink brand in the world with a brand value of roughly 99 billion U.S. dollars and sells its products in over 200 countries. The company reached a global net operating revenue of approximately 47 billion U.S. dollars in 2024.
Brand sustainability
Coca-Cola was ranked among the top five most sustainable consumer goods companies in 2020 in the United States. The company uses a mix of packaging materials, but about 47 percent of all their packaging is PET plastic, a sustainable and recyclable type of clear plastic. In 2024, The Coca-Cola Company significantly scaled back its sustainability goals. The new goals are less ambitious. For example, the company extended its timeline for reducing plastic waste and lowered its emissions reduction commitments.
