The number of TARGET2 payments in Eurozone increased slightly overall during the period from 2008 to 2021. The number of payments amounted to around 96.35 million in 2021, which was an increase compared to the pervious year.

TARGET2 (Trans-European Automated Real-time Gross Settlement Express Transfer System) enables processing of large transactions executed in euro among banks in the European Union.
