The development of the reserve assets of the Eurozone fluctuated during the period from 1999 to 2023 but increased significantly overall. The highest value was observed at the end of 2023, when approximately 1.15 trillion euros of reserve assets were held in the Eurozone. This was an approximately 33 billion euro increase compared to the previous year.
