EU operating budgetary balances in 2021, by member state

This statistic shows the operating budgetary balances of the EU member states in 2021. A negative budgetary balance means that a country contributes more to the EU budget than it receives from it, a positive balance means the country contributes less than it receives. In 2021, Germany contributed the most with approximately 21.33 billion euros.
