Number of apartments sold in China 2023, by region

In 2023, with more than 767,360 units sold, the province of Jiangsu had the largest residential real estate market in China. Provinces such as Guangdong, Sichuan, Henan and Shandong also saw significant numbers of residential properties sold. Overall, nearly 8.3 million apartments were sold in the country in 2023.
