Louis Vuitton
LVMH operates in five main luxury segments: fashion and leather goods, wines and spirits, watches and jewelry, perfumes and cosmetics, and selective retailing. Of these, fashion and leather goods generate the highest sales revenue, with 2023 returning over 42 billion euros. Needless to say, Louis Vuitton drives the group’s fashion business. The luxury brand, which celebrated its 200th anniversary in 2021, has currently the highest brand value among the world’s leading luxury companies.
Tiffany & Co. acquisition
LVMH has an impressive portfolio of luxury Maisons including Christian Dior, Givenchy, Fendi, and Marc Jacobs, among others. In 2020, when the luxury industry was still reeling from the impact of the pandemic, LVMH acquired the iconic jewelry retailer Tiffany & Co. in a decisive move to strengthen its jewelry business. Other jewelry brands operating under LVMH include Chamet, Bulgari, and Fred.
