U.S. perceptions of fair non-profit overhead costs in 2012, by cents per dollar

This statistic shows perceptions in the United States as to how much non-profit organizations would spend on overhead costs per dollar received, compared to what organizations actually spend, as of 2012. 27 percent of respondents felt that 10 to 19 cents per dollar was reasonable, while in reality only 14 percent of organizations reported such low overheads.
