U.S. school counselors views on the mission of the education system 2011
This statistic shows school counselors responses to the survey question: "Ideally, what should be the mission of the education system? And in reality, how well does this fit your view of the mission of the school system in which you work?" The greatest contrast could be seen in response to the statement "To ensure that all students complete the 12th grade ready to succeed in college and careers". While 89 percent felt that should be the mission of their school only 38 percent felt it actually was a clear mission.
