The majority of U.S. adult's oppose the government expanding offshore and oil gas drilling in U.S. waters as of the survey held between April and May of 2020. 58 percent of the Americans oppose to the expansion, whereas 40 percent of the respondents favor the expansion of offshore oil and gas drilling.
