The European Union was the leading importer of textiles worldwide, with textile imports valuing approximately 78 billion U.S. dollars in 2022. That year, the United States and Vietnam were the next two largest importers of textiles, with imports of 39 billion U.S. dollars and 19 billion U.S. dollars respectively.
