This statistic shows survey respondents' answers to a question about how they had helped to raise money for nonprofit organizations in the past. Survey respondents were from generation Y, aged 20 to 35 years old. 17 percent of respondents said they had helped to raise money for a nonprofit organization by organizing a workplace fundraiser.

Age group: 20 to 35. Focus groups of millennials - Date of focus groups: February 23,2012 to March 28, 2012. Number of focus groups: 3. Sample size: 27. Age group: 20 to 35. Online survey of nonprofit professionals - Date of survey: February 15, 2012 to April 3, 2012. Sample size: 89. Age group: 18 and older.
