This statistic shows U.S. prison chaplains responses to a question of how cases of religious extremism in U.S. prisons manifested themselves in the prisons where they worked as of 2011. 41 percent of chaplains surveyed said that they had encountered cases of inmates showing high levels of intolerance of specific racial or social groups.
