Current investments in better LNG infrastructure are expected to fuel greater demand for the crude material in the coming years. Demand is set to see greater year-on-year growth from 2021 onwards, with the Middle East expected to become an LNG consumer. Total demand is projected to reach around 450 million metric tons, of which 326 million tons is driven by markets in Asia Pacific.
