The total revenue of Kelly Services decreased steadily between 2018 and 2020, then increased again until 2022. In 2023, Kelly Services was ranked among the largest commercial staffing companies in the world.

In 2020, Kelly Services introduced a new operating model and divided its business into five units: professional and industrial, science, engineering and technology, education, outsourcing and consulting, and international.

Professional and industrial concerns services focused on office, professional, light industrial, and contact center specialties. The science, engineering, and technology segment includes instead services focused on science and clinical research, engineering, information technology, and telecommunications.
