This statistic shows the share of American students in grades 9 to 12 who stated they have driven a car when intoxicated on one or more occasions in 2017. The results were sorted by gender and ethnicity. The statistic only covers the occasions which took place 30 days before the survey was conducted. 3.8 percent of female student respondents with a white, non-Hispanic background stated they have been driving a car after they had been drinking alcohol during that time at least once.
