As of 2020, the current total fixed-line voice volume from the United Kingdom (UK) stands at approximately 45 billion minutes. Since 2004, the fixed-line volumes have generally decreased in minutes per year, with the exception of 2020. This decline has been due to continued growth in the use of mobile phones.
