The survey was done between September and October 2011 and gives additional information about the generation gap of american voters. Overall, the job situation is the most important issue regardless of the age of the respondent. Social security is the second most important issue for members of the silent generation, who are between 66 and 83 years old now.

Generation X (31-46 year olds): 493 people.
Baby Boomer (47-65 year olds): 905 people.
Silent (66-83 olds): 515 people.
