Nondurable goods include: paper and paper products; drugst and druggists' sundries; apparel, piece goods, and notions; groceries and related products; farm product raw materials; chemicals and allied products; petroleum and petroleum products; beer, wine, and distilled alcoholic beverages; as well as miscellaneous nondurable goods.
Sales and inventory estimates are based on data from the Annual Wholesale Trade Survey. Estimates have been adjusted using the final results of the 2012 Economic Census.
Estimates have not been adjusted for price changes. Additional information on confidentiality protection, sampling error, sample design, and definitions may be found here.
