Per capita consumption of fresh fruit has seen a steady rise over the last several years. In the United States, grapes are one of the most consumed fresh fruits. Per capita consumption of fresh grapes amounted to around 8.5 pounds per year. However, this pales in comparison to the per capita consumption of bananas and apples, which was 26.9 pounds and 15.8 pounds respectively in 2021.
