Consumer expenditure on video and audio equipment in the U.S. 1999-2019
In 2019, total consumer expenditure on video and audio equipment in the United States amounted to 93.45 billion U.S. dollars. Whilst this is not an insignificant amount of money, the figure fails to match those recorded for 2005 to 2008, where video and audio equipment spending surpassed 100 billion dollars in each consecutive year. That said, the figure for 2019 was the highest recorded in over a decade.
