U.S. passenger cars - number of injury crashes 1995-2019
In 2019, close to two million passenger cars were involved in crashes resulting in injuries. This volume remained stable compared to 2018. That year, passenger cars recorded the highest involvement rate per 100,000 registered vehicles for injury crashes compared to motorcycles, light trucks and large trucks.
