In 2023, the Adecco Group generated a revenue of almost 24 billion euros. This was a slight increase when compared to the previous year as the company looks to have recovered from the staffing crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

The Adecco Group

The Adecco Group is a staffing firm headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland. Their most successful service line has consistently been the provision of temporary staffing, comprising of over 80 percent of Adecco’s revenue. While the company operates globally, by country the majority of their business has been in France and the United States. Over 80 percent of the group’s revenue is from providing services to the industrial, office and information technology sectors.

The global staffing industry

The revenue of the global staffing industry has grown relatively steadily since 2009, and reached over 440 billion U.S. dollars in 2020. The largest single market in the global staffing industry has been the United States, where in 2017 the country's market share was around 30 percent. Adecco held the third-highest market share of staffing firms in the United States in 2020.
