This statistic shows the number of U.S. households in rural areas without home internet due to cost reasons in 2011, sorted by family income of householder. During the survey period it was found that 7,000 rural households with a householder family income of less than 5,000 U.S. dollars did not have internet at home as it was stated to be too expensive.
