According to a study from early 2022, 13 percent of respondents who reported using podcasts on a weekly basis in the United States in 2022 had listened to three podcasts in the last week, while 18 percent had listened to eleven or more. In 2022, fewer consumers listened to just two podcast per week than in the previous year, with higher shares of listeners accessing one or three compared to 2019.
