Overall, 9.7 percent of users aged 35 to 44 years were women, and 9.3 percent were men.

In 2023, there were over 246 million Facebook users in the U.S. By 2028, it is estimated that around 263 million people in the U.S. will be signed up for the platform.

Although Facebook is widely used and very popular with U.S. consumers, there are issues of trust with its North American audience. As of November 2021, 72 percent of respondents reported that they did not trust Facebook with their personal data. Despite having privacy doubts, a May 2022 survey found that 20 percent of adults had a very favorable opinion of Facebook, and one-third held a somewhat positive view of the platform.
