In 2023, the insurer was the largest writer of property and casualty insurance in the United States. They provide vehicle, homeowners, renters, life and annuities, health, disability and flood insurance among several other insurance products.
Net promoter score and ad spend of State Farm
Despite their market leader status, State Farm's net promoter score puts them in the middle of the pack with only 42 percent of their customers saying they would recommend the insurer. However, their nearest competitors did not score any better with Progressive receiving a NPS of only 38 percent in the same analysis. The three largest car insurers were also the biggest spenders on advertising.
