Home battery energy storage cost in the United States H1 2021-H1 2024

As of the first half of 2024, the price of home storage batteries in the United States was at its lowest in at least three years. Between the end of 2023 and June 2024, battery storage costs recorded a 10 percent decrease, bringing the price to 1,133 U.S. dollars per kilowatt-hour in the latter time period.
