Millennial use of selected payment methods when buying online worldwide in 2024

Debit cards were the most used payment method for millennial shoppers, with over 40 percent of those aged between 28 and 43 using them, according to a survey in 2024. Credit cards followed, with 34 percent of the generation paying for online purchases with this method.
