Global share of AI companion apps users 2023-2024, by age

Between 2023 and 2024, users aged between 18 and 24 years accounted for over 65 percent of the audience share of artificial intelligence (AI) companion apps. Consumers between the ages of 50 and 64 were only 13.3 percent of global AI companion app users. Users aged 65 and above were less than one percent of the total AI companion app audience worldwide.
