Both in 2024 and 2022 in the United States, the most commonly outsourced cybersecurity function for states was security operations center (including 24*7*365 monitoring), with 76 percent and 52 percent of respondents mentioning it, respectively. Moreover, forensics/legal support ranked second as an outsourced function, reported by 65 percent of respondents in 2024 and 40 percent in 2022.
