In 2024, 31 percent of organizations required four to six months to fill a technical role, an increase compared to the 29 percent of organizations who reported the same in the previous year. In contrast, the share of organizations taking between one and three months to fill a technical role dropped from 40 percent in 2023 to only a third of organizations in 2024. Overall, the figures for 2024 show a slight right skew compared to the values for the previous year, illustrating a notable increase in the average time to hire between 2023 and 2024.
