Leading Gen AI app downloads during first 10-days from launch 2025

As of January 2025, ChatGPT was the generative AI mobile app with the largest number of downloads during its first 10 days from launch. The OpenAI app, which launched on November 30, 2023, generated almost 7.4 million downloads within the first 10 days from its initial release. Microsoft Copilot generated around 1.96 million downloads during its first 10 days on the market. Chinese-developed DeepSeek, which disrupted the global market launching on January 15, 2025, generated around 1.52 million downloads during its first 10-days from launch.
