Main strategies to encourage employee cybersecurity reporting worldwide 2024

In a 2024 survey, around 77 percent of respondents from organizations with cyber resilience that met minimum requirements stated that they encouraged employees to report cyber incidents through training and awareness programs. Additionally, 62 percent of organizations with high cyber resilience had dedicated support teams or individuals available to assist employees in reporting and addressing their security concerns. On the other hand, 35 percent of respondents from companies with insufficient cyber resilience did not have any dedicated cyber reporting program.
