As of 2024, around 45 percent of Chief Information Security Officers (CISO) and 31 percent of Chief Executive Officers (CEO) were concerned about disruption of operations as the cyber risk in the context of geopolitical tensions. Cyber espionage and loss of sensitive information or IP ranked second among cybersecurity concerns amid geopolitical tensions.
