According to a survey conducted in 2024 in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) among executives across different sectors, about 66 percent of the respondents indicated that the most relevant generative AI risks for organizations were in cybersecurity. In comparison, approximately one-fifth of surveyed executives identified generative AI risks related to labor displacement as important.
