According to a survey conducted by Research Istanbul in 2023, Turkish people's level of trust regarding disaster management was the highest in volunteer aid and the Turkish Armed Forces (Türk Silahlı Kuvvetleri), accounting for 87 and 79 percent, respectively. In contrast, the level of trust in government institutions such as municipalities and governorship was the lowest among the public in Turkey.
