A survey conducted in 15 countries worldwide, between April and May 2023, found that older generations see more importance in online privacy. Namely, in the majority of countries, over 90 percent of individuals between 55 and 65 years old said data privacy was important to them. Meanwhile, most younger individuals between 18 and 24 years, across all surveyed markets, were less likely to see data privacy as something important.
