As of 2023, the communication and information sector in Ghana contributed around 11.8 billion Ghanaian cedis (GHS) at constant prices, roughly 803 million U.S. dollars, to the country's GDP. This followed the gradually increasing trend observed since 2013. As of that year, the contributions stood at some 1.9 billion GHS.
