In 2023, the passenger car segment in South Africa had the highest number of sales for new vehicles exported from the country, at over 255,000. This shows an increase of seven percent from 2022. However, light commercial vehicles saw the largest increase in exported sales, increasing by an additional 27,749 vehicles from the previous year.
