Aldi's 2020 "Peel the Need" Christmas ad was the most viewed supermarket Christmas commercial on YouTube in the United Kingdom between 2019 and 2024, amassing 7.8 million views. Sainsbury's 2019 "Nicholas the Sweep" ad followed with 6.7 million views, while Aldi's 2021 "A Christmas Carrot" campaign rounded out the top three with 3.1 million.
