As of September 2024, European sustainable funds maintained their global leadership in terms of total funds, amounting to 72 percent of all shares. In contrast, Japan, the United States, and Australia & New Zealand held the smallest shares, each accounting for only four percent.

The source adds the following information: Money market funds, fund of funds and feeder funds are excluded. For Canada and the United States, funds of funds and feeder funds are excluded from flow and asset calculations, whereas for Japan and South Korea, they are included in the calculation.
