In September 2024, European sustainable funds accounted for the highest share in terms of asset under management (AUM) when compared to the other regions worldwide, amounting to approximately 2.76 trillion U.S. dollars. The United States came in second, with AUM totaling to 353 billion U.S. dollars. On the other hand, Japan was far behind in the rankings, accounting for only 24 billion U.S. dollars in sustainable ETFs under management.
