Expectations regarding work changes due to generative AI in Japan 2024

According to a survey conducted in Japan from January to February 2024, a combined share of 67.5 percent of the respondents thought to varying degrees that generative artificial intelligence (AI) would change their work by filling in for a lack of professional skills and knowledge. The share of respondents who thought or rather thought that generative AI would replace their work and that they would lose their job amounted to 43 percent.
