UK elderly on impact of fear of scams 2023

A survey conducted in the United Kingdom (UK) between July and August 2023, found that approximately 20 percent of the surveyed individuals aged 50 years and older felt scared to answer their phone as a result of worries about getting scammed. Additionally, 11 percent said they feared opening their door due to worries of being defrauded.
