According to a survey conducted in Japan from January to February 2024, a combined share of 47.2 percent of the respondents thought to varying degrees that it was desirable to use generative artificial intelligence (AI) customer support or customer service. By contrast, only 32.4 percent of the respondents thought this way about viewing news created by generative AI.
