In the second quarter of 2024, the construction industry in Mexico was dominated by bricklayers and stonemasons, with approximately 1.68 million workers on those occupations. Support workers in construction were also in high demand, with over 1.4 million employed in these roles. On the other end of the spectrum, there were 10,800 secretaries in construction, a group that received the lowest salaries among these occupations.
